Free Music

I dont know if anyone here downloads music with torrents or limewire or anything but if you do you probably know that its full of viruses and its easy to get caught by the authorities. If anyone would like me to post a tutorial on how to get music free from youtube or pandora or any other site really, let me know.

Get an ad-on called "1-click youtube download" (it works on sites other than youtube) here: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/personal.html
Once installed and enabled it will pop up a little "get it" box whenever your mouse is over something it can get. I just saw that the link i posted is for an updated version that I have not tried yet, it may work a different way but is still probably very user friendly, if you have any problems ask me and ill get the update and see whats going on.

There is a free version of it, but you have to keep telling it your using the free version every time you start up. Im sure there are other programs that will work but this is the first one I found.

Simply go to youtube, pandora, vevo, whatever site you can find the music you want on, and download it using your firefox ad-on.
Once you have the file you need to convert it into mp3, thats what AoA is for. Click add files on the right side of the program, and browse for the files you downloaded, then hit open. The free version of AoA only lets you do 3 files at once, but while its working on the first 3 you can be getting 3 more. Make sure its set to mp3 and saving to the right directory, then hit start.

Once its done you'll have some high quality mp3 files that are virus free and do not include any tracking software.

or u can go on google and type free youtube to mp3 converter and then u get that and open it etc install then u get a youtube song u like take the link put it in and then u can get it for free

Or you can just do what I do.

First of all, download the FLV. file from youtube using the Antbar program, the Firefox Addon. It can be found at the link below.

Afterwards, extract the flv. file using the FLV Extraction tool. (Open the program and drag the files into the window it opens.) The link to the FLV extraction tool is below.

Finally, you convert it into whatever format that plays on your devices. I'm sure there are better encoders, but this is the only free one I have that doesn't have a limited-time trial.

It's a little complicated and takes a while, but allows you to rip any music you want from youtube (Usually in aac. or .mpeg) as long as you take the time to do it. (Takes about half a minute for each song if you're interested in taking the time to do so.) Of course downloading the song straight forward is faster, but there's never a legal short cut.

ya there are a few variations you can use. browser ad-on to get the file, tool to convert it.

yeah jeremy, the converter is the best. just write what he said: free youtube to mp3 converter or write: free studio and download it and u will have a lot of things like the converters
