i think its mostly a mental thing. the only downside of r700 i can see is the clip size. other than that, i love it.

My weapon of choice in Normal Servers is m4a30, cause basically it feels lighter in your hand, And also have 5 bullets which is an extra bullet if you miss when your quick switching. I reckon its hard to place no scope in m4a30. i d k its just bit weird for me. i can do good no scopes when m4a30 with acog but if its hardscope its really hard for me to no scope. R700 i use it in promod, in promod it feels good in my hand, cuz promod is full on stealthy and all so yea i go for r700 plux - plux promod is all about wall bangs r700 has deeper penetration you have less chances of getting a hit marker. And for Some reason r700 in no scoping is beast altho it has some recoil but it feels good when you no scope and its easier too.

m4a30 (acog) (hardscope) -- Normal
r700 (hardscope) -- Promod

hmm i love them both the same really it has to do with what you are trying to accomplish. No scoping tends to go with R700 but most people use M4OA3 because of the clip size. My weapon of choice depends on the map
